Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time occupational therapy position is available in a K-12 urban school setting in West Chester, PA. This full-semester contract requires a dedicated professional to support a diverse student caseload in an onsite capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic services to K-12 students within the school environment
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessments
- Collaborate with education staff to support student progress and accommodations
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in regular team meetings and parent conferences as needed
Qualifications:
- Active, valid Pennsylvania OT license or certification
- Proven experience working in school-based occupational therapy, preferably with a K-12 caseload
- Willingness to obtain required Pennsylvania clearances
- Comfort working within an urban school environment
- Ability to commit to a 30-hour workweek onsite for the duration of the contract
- Availability for a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
- Must be able to disclose the district name upon request
